A Prayer for You Today: May God Give You Peace and Strength Sometimes, we wake up with a heart that feels heavier than we can explain. Everything may look normal on the outside, but inside, we may be carrying worries about our family, our future, our finances, our health, or someone we love. If that sounds familiar, take a quiet moment today and remember this: **You are not alone.** There are seasons in life when we don’t have all the answers. We may not know what tomorrow will bring, and sometimes the road ahead can feel uncertain. But we can still pray. ## A Prayer for Today Dear God, Thank You for giving me another day. Thank You for the breath in my lungs, the people I love, and the blessings I sometimes forget to notice. Today, I ask You to calm my heart. When I feel worried, remind me that I don’t have to understand everything at once. When I feel tired, give me strength to take another step. When I feel discouraged, remind me that difficult moments do not define my entire life. Please watch over my family and the people I love. Protect them wherever they may be. Keep our homes filled with peace, kindness, patience, and love. Give us wisdom when we have difficult decisions to make. Give us courage when we are afraid. And give us faith when the answers don’t come as quickly as we hoped. ## For the Person Who Is Struggling Today Maybe someone reading this is quietly going through something they haven’t told anyone about. Maybe they’re worried about a loved one. Maybe they’re trying to stay strong for their family. Maybe they’re facing a difficult change in life. Maybe they’re simply exhausted. God, please meet that person where they are. Give them peace in the middle of uncertainty. Give them hope when the future looks unclear. Remind them that one difficult chapter is not the end of their story. Sometimes the answer doesn’t come immediately. Sometimes the situation doesn’t change overnight. But prayer can change the way we face the difficult days. ## A Prayer for Your Home May your home be a place of peace. May laughter return when there has been sadness. May forgiveness replace old arguments. May love be stronger than anger. May your family find reasons to be grateful, even during difficult seasons. And when life becomes overwhelming, may you remember to pause, breathe, and pray. You don’t have to solve everything today. Sometimes, the next step is simply trusting God with what you cannot control. ## When You Don’t Know What to Pray There are days when words are difficult to find. You may sit quietly and not know what to say. That’s okay. A simple prayer can be enough: **”God, please help me.”** Those four words can carry everything you’re feeling. You don’t need perfect words. You don’t need a long speech. You can simply bring your worries, fears, hopes, and gratitude to God. ## May This Be Your Reminder Today Whatever you’re facing right now, don’t lose hope. The difficult season you’re experiencing today may not look the same tomorrow. Keep going. Keep praying. Keep believing that better days are possible. Take life one day at a time. Be grateful for the small blessings. Call someone you love. Forgive when you can. Rest when you need to. And remember that sometimes the smallest moments of peace are blessings too. A quiet morning. A cup of coffee. A phone call from someone you love. A family meal. A beautiful sunrise. A second chance. These moments may seem ordinary, but they are gifts. ## A Final Prayer Dear God, Please bless everyone reading these words today. Bless those who are happy and those who are hurting. Bless those who have everything they need and those who are struggling. Bless the parents worried about their children. Bless the children worried about their parents. Bless those who feel lonely. Bless those who are starting over. Bless those who are waiting for an answer. Give them strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Protect their homes. Watch over their families. Guide their decisions. Calm their fears. And remind them that they are never forgotten. May this day bring a little more peace to their hearts. May tomorrow bring new reasons to hope. And may they recognize the blessings that are already around them. **Amen.** 🙏 If this prayer spoke to your heart today, take a moment to share it with someone who may need a little encouragement. Sometimes, the message someone needs most arrives at exactly the right moment.

While I was unconscious after surgery, my husband was livestreamed kissing his mistress, who was dressed like a bride, and when I woke up, I heard him call her “the woman I truly wanted.” I didn’t confront him, call, or demand answers—I simply gathered my important documents and disappeared. Three days later, he returned home frantically to find me, only to freeze when he saw eight moving trucks outside our house and finally realized what I had quietly taken with me.

Part 1 – While I Was Fighting for My Life, My Husband Was Publicly Marrying Another Woman The last thing I heard before doctors rushed me into emergency surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital was…
